Political Science Peer Mentoring Initiative

Introduction

Begun in Fall 2020 during the pandemic, the Political Science Peer Mentoring Program offers interested political science students access to experienced peer mentors. Peer mentors, recruited from a deep pool of successful political science majors, are paid to help others understand course material and readings, complete homework assignments, organize their time/energies/tasks, and develop vital social connections with other students. The Political Science Peer Mentoring Program is not a tutoring lab. It builds strong relations between students as they work together for the success of all.
