“I really have felt very prepared for law school and have enjoyed everything so far. Beyond that, I personally have felt confident in my abilities because of your help! Below’s my statement for the Dean if it’s not too late: BYUH and the Legal Studies program helped give me the foundational knowledge I needed for law school. Knowing how to brief a case, the basics of the US justice system, and how to understand a court ruling have already made me feel like I have a head start compared to many of my peers. My professors at BYUH also set me up for success by giving me confidence in my intellectual abilities and showing me there’s value in what I personally bring to the table.
Also, I applied and ended up going to the Divinely Inspired Constitutional Principles at BYU you sent us earlier in the summer, so thank you for that information as well!! I ended up meeting so many amazing and bright students, it was truly an amazing experience. Elder Christofferson and Elder Rasband were there too, and we each got to talk with them individually. I learned so much about the Constitution and made some great connections with people and professors from all over. Thank you for all you do, you are truly the best!!”
