OPHD Volunteer Certification
Oceanian Perspective on Human Dignity Conference (April 23 - 25, 2024)
The OPHD Volunteer Certification was designed for volunteers to prepare to meet our OPHD Delegates. When you are certified it can show our guests that our volunteers have been trained, educated, and prepared to engage with them throughout the conference.
Steps to get certified
Step 1: Enroll
- Enroll in the OPHD Canvas course by accepting the invitation in your BYUH email
- Complete Canvas assignments
Step 2: Human Dignity Background
Complete the following:
- Latter-day Saint Human Dignity Response Human Dignity terms
- Human Dignity terms
Step 3: Professionalism
Complete the Following:
- Resume
- Personal Branding Statement
- Reading Selection from "True Professionalism"
Step 4: Religious Freedom
Complete the following:
- Foundational Video Paragraph summary
- "Religious Freedom" by Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints summary
- “Faith Commitments Fuel Dialogue…” summary
Step 5: Attend Trainings and Meetings
Attend volunteer training and meetings. Reminders will be sent to your BYUH email.
