The student representative program provides an opportunity for students to interact with delegates from diverse backgrounds. Through this experience, representatives can develop their skills, gain valuable insights, and engage meaningfully throughout the conference.
Step 1: Enroll
- Enroll in the SE Asian Perspectives Canvas course by accepting the invitation in your BYUH email
Step 2: Human Dignity Background
Please complete the following:
- Latter-Day saint and human dignity response understanding
- Download Whova app
- Specific committee assignments
Step 3: Professionalism
Please complete the following:
- Develop resume
- Create a personal branding statement
- Read selections from "True Professionalism"
Step 4: Religious Freedom
Please complete the following:
- Write a foundational video paragraph summary
- Write a summary on "Religious Freedom" by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
- Write "Faith Commitments Fuel Dialogue" summary
Step 5: Attend Workshops and Meetings
In order to get the best experience, please make sure to:
- Attend all mandatory meetings and visit our workshops weekly
- Do research on human dignity and religious freedom topics
- Practice networking skills
- Stay updated on our social media and Whova app
