RFHD Fall 2022 Info Booth
September 26-27, 2022
The fellows hosted an informational booth outside of the Aloha Center on campus to promote our initiative and inviting students to our opening social. We displayed QR codes that led students to our profiles and encouraged them to follow us for information about our future activities and other religious freedom-related current events. It was a great chance to connect with students on campus and spread the word about our initiative.

Opening Social with Prelaw Society
September 27, 2022
The case presented was Church of Lukumi Babalu Aye v. City of Hialeah, which involves a religious group performing ritual animal sacrifice and the city that passed ordinances preventing the practice. The attendees were divided into teams representing each side and then held a mock trial. The judging panel declared the City of Hialeah victorious. We had a wonderful turnout for the event.
