Our Perspectives on Human Dignity Conferences
Our Event Mission and Vision
The Religious Freedom and Human Dignity (RFHD) Initiative alongside the International Center for Law and Religion Studies (ICLRS) hosts an annual Perspectives on Human Dignity Conference. The goal of this conference is to provide an opportunity for groups of scholars to expand our understanding of how human dignity is addressed from a variety of Oceanian and Asian perspectives. We invite scholars from various Oceanian and Asian countries to present papers at the conference to help us understand how human dignity is understood from their cultural and societal perspectives. Our students also have the opportunity to present their research and help facilitate the conference.
Conferences
Our Student Representatives
Students here at Brigham Young University–Hawaii volunteer their time and talents to help facilitate the conferences and grow connections with our invited delegates. They work in several committees including the media team, logistics team, transportation team, and more! Our representatives help make our conferences successful and do it with aloha.
Exclusive Pins
One of the many unique things about our conferences is that we have something you can take back to remember. At every conference, we make collectible pins for our attendees to keep and remind them of what they learned at this conference.
